Everybody holds the key to their own healing, but sometimes the body needs a little help. That’s where my services come in. As an experienced Registered Massage Therapist, I work with you to restore your balance and health.

I use a variety of different techniques to faciliate the restoration of your body and well-being. Some of the techniques include deep tissue ( within your comfort range), effleurage, cupping, joint mobilization, GTO, myofascial release, petrissage and remedial exercise but not limited too.

I am well-versed in working with different conditions as well as different populations such as children & the elderly. Some of those conditions are pregnancy, fibromyalgia, postural dysfunction, stress and tension, impingement, neurological dysfunction, CF, RA, OA just to name a few.

Rehabilitation

Did you know that Registered Massage Therapist have very similar scope of practice as a Physiotherapist?

What does that mean? It means that Registered Massage Therapist can prescribe remedial stretching and strengthening exercise in order to faciliate the rehabilitation of your body back to a state of wellness.

Physical therapist will give a diagnosis and request requisitions for xrays, scans. This is not within the RMT scope of practise.

The practice of massage therapy is the assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissue and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, to relieve pain or to promote health.
